Aviation Training Service (ATS) is a service company. It has been developed as a company, by aviation professionals, who have been involved since the beginnings of Aviation CRM in the UK. ATS uses a group of CRM safety professionals who are at the forefront of CRM development in the UK and Europe. All of our instructors are currently or have been senior permanent staff and have held senior training roles in airlines. We are instructors who have been developing and running all levels of CRM courses for over ten years for both cabin crew, pilots and other airline staff and within other industries. ATS is fully engaged in the development of Crew Resource Management as a safety strategy within the European, UK and world wide regulatory requirements. Our instructors are drawn from Airline CRM Managers, Training Standards Captains, Cabin Crew accredited as CRMI(Ground), Training Captains and Instructors with academic backgrounds in business and aviation. This gives a strong link between knowledge and operational experience. We have experience within our cadre of instructors in developing new CRM courses and connecting academic research in CRM issues and regulations to the requirements of front line staff at the front line. We have experience of full service airline culture and low cost airline culture. Our instructors have worked as Captains and crew for airlines such as British Airways, Easyjet , Go-Fly, Eastern Airways, and worked with many other airlines and charter companies in the UK and abroad. The philosophy of Aviation Training Services is to work with client airlines to provide them with effective CRM courses. The courses should link front line staff, in a meaningful way, to the staff company issues, CRM research, academic knowledge and CRM regulatory requirements. This is achieved by experienced accredited CRMI Facilitators using interactive adult learning techniques and well designed CRM courses that include the culture and operating environment of the client airline.
