Aviation Training Service offers all levels of Aviation CRM courses and CRM Instructor Courses. The following is a selection of our Aviation CRM courses:-


This is a specialist "UK Approved" CRM Instructor course to prepare and become a classroom CRM or Human Factors Instructor.

The CRMI(Ground) course is equally available for pilots, cabin crew and other training staff, such as new HF Instructors from military, Air Traffic Organisations and Maintenance organisations.

Upon successful completion delegates will be able to commence gaining experience in their company and can apply to satisfy their relevant CAA requirements.

EU-OPS requires Line and Simulator Instructors to Assess CRM Skills and to be trained in their use. The course includes instructional techniques, assessing CRM skills, practise use of NOTECHS behaviour marker Systems and skills development to facilitate a constructive Briefing and Debriefing.

The NOTECHS system can be adapted to other approved or validated Behaviour Marker systems within the delegate's own airline or company.

Upon Successful completion of the course:

CRMI(Line) instructors can apply through their airline, to their relevant CAA, for authority to conduct Line Training and Checking and use Assessment of CRM/Non Technical Skills as required under JAR/EU-Ops.

CRMI(Sim) instructors will be ready to comply to requirements of their CAA authorisation, and be able to Assessment CRM/Non Technical Skills as required under JAR/EU-Ops.

This course is a UK "Approved" courses compliant with JAR/EU-OPS.

EU-OPS requires that existing Line and Simulator Trainers must assess pilot CRM skills and be trained in their use. This specialist course prepares existing Line and Simulator instructors for EU-OPS "Assessment of CRM Skills".

This course can be run during the last three days of our 5 day open CRMI course.

Initial CRM Course

This interactive course normally lasts two days and is primarily for cabin and flight deck crew who have little or no previous CRM knowledge. The course is run by UK Accredited CRMI(ground) or CRMIE facilitators. Please contact us to discuss your requirements for courses here in the UK or at your location.

Recurrent CRM Course
This course is designed to continue development of CRM skills as an annual refresher for pilots and cabin crew. The content is developed annually with the client airline company to reflect the issues and culture within the airline. The courses are run by UK CAA accredited CRMI facilitators.
